ACI to kick off seminar series at Valuation 2005

May 17, 2005

ACI, a national provider of appraisal technology, this week announced the kick off of its ACI Technology Seminar Series in New Orleans at Valuation 2005.

The itinerary includes an overview of the numerous interfaces that ACI provides to today’s appraiser via its flagship appraisal software. Additional seminars have been scheduled throughout the nation to accommodate the widespread geographic distribution of appraisers that utilize ACI software.

The Technology Seminar Series will educate appraisers on the wide array of options available to ACI software users, including:

  • Updates on ACI software features and information regarding how to maximize use of ancillary products to augment ACI appraisal software.
  • Training on use of ACI’s interface to access eTrac’s Office Manager — an online office management solution which enables appraisers to receive, track, and deliver orders efficiently throughout the entire appraisal process — now available as an eServic.
  • Instruction on building and managing customized appraisal Web sites using WebStudio — a complete online solution.
  • Time-saving tips on using the Internet to access flood data, location maps, and other data providers to maximize appraiser productivity.

Industry experts, technology partners and other guest speakers including Apex, DataMaster, eTrac, and MapPro.

The ACI 2005 Technology Seminar Series includes more than 20 seminars that will feature practical information and instruction on utilizing technology impacting the appraisal industry.

“Technology has had a significant impact on the appraisal industry, which has cultivated a ‘sink or swim’ mentality,” said George Opelka, vice president of ACI.  “The industry is changing and our seminars are designed to help appraisers understand that technology is something that should be embraced, not feared.  This series will help appraisers maximize their software investment, while at the same time providing a valuable opportunity to network with their peers.”

The ACI Technology Seminar is a unique opportunity for clients to get the latest information on upcoming product features, attend presentations by ACI partners, and participate in open-panel discussions with guest speakers and experts from ACI.

The New Orleans ACI Technology Seminar is scheduled for May 25, followed by the Las Vegas event on Nov. 7. Additional dates are scheduled throughout the United States over the next six months.

“I am pleased that an industry leader like ACI has chosen Valuation 2005 as the arena for their Technology Seminars,” said Joan N. Trice, president of Allterra Consulting Group LLC and producer of Valuation 2005.  “Together, these two events blend the perfect mix of technology information, education, and business networking opportunities for ACI clients and the Valuation community.”

ACI also provides training at its Palm Coast, Florida corporate offices on the last Friday of every month.  Interested parties may call 800-234-8727 or visit www.appraiserschoice.com  to register or learn more about ACI’s Technology Seminars.
